Adams County Sheriff Deputy Shot – Saved by Bullet Proof Vest

Officers rushed to the area in Adams County near an intersection late Sunday night, where a suspect had shot been shot by a suspects gun fire. Adams County Sheriff’s deputies attempted a traffic stop in the area of 88th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard but the suspect took off. Deputies spotted the suspect after he crashed and shot a Deputy upon contact. The Deputies “bullet proof” vest stopped the round and prevented the Deputy from becoming a statistic of fatalities as violent crimes stay on the rise.
