Aurora Police Gang unit Shooting of 14 year old Jor Dell Richardson – part 2

Aurora Police pursue armed robber suspects, all later identified as juveniles, a previously stolen vehicle as used as a get away car. 14 year old Jor’Dell Richardson ran on foot and is seen with his hand concealed in the front of his waste area. As he was contacted by police officers he was taken to the ground where a firearm that Richardson was in possession of was displayed. One officer made the split second decision to use deadly force, where Richardson subsequently died from those injuries. In this two part series, James Allbee met with Tayla Cunningham with Fox 31-Denver to review the body worn cameras and discuss the decisions to pursue and ultimately use deadly force.
