Denver Police are investigating a shooting that left 10 people shot and thousands fleeing downtown in celebration of Nuggets securing the National championship. Denver Police do not believe that this is related to the celebration, rather that it is drug-related. Denver Police incident tracking shows the areas between 19th Street to 22nd Street and Lawrence Street to Blake Street being one of Denver’s biggest concentrations of aggravated criminal activity over the past 90 days. 1 had the pleasure of talking with Nicole Fierro, from Fox31-Denver to discuss this incident.
Two males were immediately taken into custody.
